FEATURES: THE EMT 250 WAS RELEASED IN 1976 AND REALLY WAS A REVOLUTION IN THE AUDIO INDUSTRY AT THAT TIME. NO ONLY IT WAS THE FIRST DIGITAL REVERB EVER BUT IT LOOKED LIKE SOMETHING FROM AN ALIEN SPACECRAFT! IT REALLY LOOKS LIKE A WW2 AIRCRAFT CONTROL BOARD MOUNTED ON RADIATOR...
THE 250 HAS A SUPERB AND UNEQUALED SOUND. IT'S CURRENTLY THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER VINTAGE DIGITAL REVERB IN THE WORLD. THE ONE WE HAVE FOR SALE IS IN EXCELLENT WORKING AS WELL AS AESTHETIC CONDITIONS.
ON THE TOP MOUNTED CONTROL PANEL 4 OVERSIZE LEVERS ADJUSTS MAIN DELAY/DECAY TIME, LF AND HF DECAY TIMES, AND ADDED DELAY TO THE SEND. IT ALSO HAS DELAY, PHASING, CHORUS, ECHO, AND SPACE ECHO PROGRAMS. IT HAS ONE INPUT AND 4 OUTPUTS.
THE DESIGN OF THE 250 WAS A JOINT EFFORT BETWEEN EMTS ENGINEERS IN GERMANY AND A SMALL FIRM IN MASSACHUSETTS, USA CALLED DYNATRON. EMT DESIGNED THE CONVERTERS, I/O, AND POWER SUPPLY, WHILE DYNATRON DESIGNED THE MAIN DIGITAL/PROCESSOR BOARD.
