COMMENTS: A PLM AMP WITHOUT THE BIG MOD DONE IN 2013 IS VIRTUALLY WORTHLESS. IT IS PRETTY MUCH A 100% CERTAINLY THE AMP WILL FAIL WITHOUT IT. IT HAS TO DO WITH THE DATA MONITORING AND RECORDING SYSTEM IN THE AMP. IF YOU JUST USE THEM AND DON探 NETWORK THEM AND COLLECT THE DATA, WHEN THE DATA RECORDING MEMORY IS FULL, THE AMP SHUTS DOWN.
IT CAN TAKE 1-4 YEARS DEPENDING ON THE USE, BUT IT WILL HAPPEN. ITS A 3.5 HOUR MODIFICATION.
OURS WERE ALL DONE DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD. AFTER THAT (WHICH WOULD APPLY TO ANY PLM10000Q YOU WOULD BUY USED NOW) ITS ALMOST $600/AMP TO GET IT DONE.
