COMMENTS: THESE SPEAKERS WORK PERFECTLY IN BI-AMP MODE, BUT AS THEY ARE CURRENTLY CONFIGURED IN PASSIVE MODE.
THE CROSSOVERS IN THESE UNITS WERE SENT TO EAW FOR REPAIR AND UPON THEIR RETURN, I REINSTALLED THEM, HOWEVER THE PASSIVE MODE DID NOT WORK. SEEING THEY RUN PERFECTLY IN BI AMPED MODE AND I DID NOT HAVE A REASON TO RUN THEM IN PASSIVE. I DID NOT TRY AND REWIRE THEM AND IT IS MY GUESS THAT IF THEY WERE REWIRED THEY WOULD WORK PERFECTLY IN PASSIVE MODE TOO.
IT IS MY GUESS THAT IF SOMEONE WHO WAS FAMILIAR WITH WIRING THESE BOXES WAS WILLING TO TAKE THE TIME TO REWIRE THESE CABINETS, THEY WOULD HAVE A GREAT PAIR OF FULLY FUNCTIONING KF300 FOR A REALLY GREAT PRICE.
