THE V2-DISK-1210 EXPANSION DISK KIT ALLOWS USERS TO ADD ADDITIONAL STORAGE TO THE V2-MASTER-1210 VISION² MASTER SERVER OR THE V2-SERVER-1210 VISION² EXPANSION SERVER. IT INCLUDES THREE 4 TB DISKS, FOR A TOTAL PHYSICAL CAPACITY OF 12 TB.

EACH VISION² SERVER HAS TWELVE DISK BAYS AND COMES PRE-POPULATED WITH THREE 4 TB DISKS. UP TO THREE EXPANSION DISKS KITS CAN BE ADDED TO A VISION² SERVER, FOR A TOTAL INSTALLED CAPACITY OF 12 DISKS AND 48 TB OF RAW STORAGE. THE DISKS IN A VISION² SERVER ARE IN A RAID CONFIGURATION, SO THE TOTAL AVAILABLE CAPACITY FOR VIDEO CONTENT WILL BE LESS.

THE V2-DISK-1210 EXPANSION DISK KIT CAN BE EITHER FIELD OR FACTORY INSTALLED. WHEN INSTALLED IN THE FIELD, THE SERVER WILL HAVE TO GO THROUGH A RAID EXPANSION PROCESS, WHICH COULD LEAVE THE SERVER UNAVAILABLE FOR A PERIOD OF SEVERAL HOURS.
